Andre 3000 has released two pieces of music to honour his parents – both of which have passed away. These represent the first solo music released from the Outkast rapper for a long while.
Though Andre has featured on a number of albums for artists like Kanye West, Frank Ocean and A Tribe Called Quest recently , ‘Look Ma No Hands’ and ‘Me&My (To Bury Your Parents)’ are the first recorded tracks from the artist for years. The two track single has been released today (May 13) to celebrate Mother’s Day in the US.
These tracks are not in anyway related to Outkast in style nor theme. ‘Me&My (To Bury Your Parents)’ consists of a sole piano and Andre’s voice singing about his relationship with his parents. ‘Look Ma No Hands’ is a 17-minute long jazz piece. Listen to the new tracks from Andre 3000 below.
